MANITOBA POEM

IT’S WINTER IN MANITOBA

AND THE GENTLE BREEZES BLOW

SEVENTY MILES AN HOUR

AT THIRTY-FIVE BELOW

OH HOW I LOVE MANITOBA

WHEN THE SNOW’S UP TO YOUR BUTT

YOU TAKE A BREATH OF WINTER AIR

AND YOUR NOSE GETS FROZEN SHUT

YES, THE WEATHER HERE IS WONDERFUL

SO I GUESS I’LL HANG AROUND

I COULD NEVER LEAVE MANITOBA

CAUSE I’M FROZEN TO THE GROUND!!

Haha it’s so true, as Manitoban’s are a hardy bunch. We have the craziest weather in the world. Today was 31 and in a week or 2 were supposed to have frost. And those 50 bellow winters… I’ve checked many days and we were colder then the South Pole.
